I first met Sarah and Ben almost a year a go and I loved them instantly. The more I found out about their lives, the more I found out we had in common. This shoot really captures the essence of who they are. Many of us pose for the camera, whereas the loving smiles on Sarah and Ben's faces truly are real which reminds me of why I adore my job as a wedding planner.
I met with Sarah and Ben for a prewedding-shoot just before christmas. This was the perfect time of year to reminise and recreate the couple's first couple of dates together. Sarah and Ben's romance wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for their friends who signed them both up to a dating website. They soon agreed to meet at Bedales wine bar, on London's Southbank where our first shooting location took place with the marvelous photographer; Emma Case.
We walked to Neals Yard dairy where we were reminded of how much Sarah and Ben adore their food, especially cheese. This is a just one interest they share in common and it was lovely to see how happy they were rekindling the memories of first discovering this.
Not only do Sarah and Ben both share food in common but they share the same passion for music, the arts and culture. Tate Modern is a very important place for the couple to appreciate and wine and dine each other. With both having such busy working lifestyles, this location is a special part of their free time together.
Sarah and Ben's wedding is set to be lots of great fun and I very much look foward to sharing their 1950s inspired wedding with you later on in the summer. Never have I worked with such an adoring couple who are clearly very deeply in love. It continues to be an absolute pleasure to plan their wedding day and I'm excited to witness the day they become husband and wife in front of their family and friends.
